Testing
The Uniform CPA exam is an exciting test of knowledge and is soon to be a test of skill and communications ability as well. I am steeped in the world of examinations and testing logic. The CPA exam will be delivered through Prometric centers as a Computer Based Exam, probably including Simulations and complex item types, like essays, spreadsheets, and multiple selection multiple-choice questions. This is all in response to an industry seeking better testing of entry level professionals along the lines of performance ability and communications. Tests are quite complex and the team of people I am working with at the AICPA are brilliant. I am having a good time. I will be getting deep into some project planning over the next couple of weeks, so if any interesting planning activities yield a writing opportinuity, I will be sure to post about it.
