I had to post the office commentary from this week:

Subject: Early Prediction - 11/21/04

Since I am out of the office the rest of the week, I am putting in my early prediction for Sunday’s game against the deadskins….Our defense still isn’ t playing good enough for me after giving up 21 to the Cowgirls…..but the offense was incredible..(McNabb scrambled with the ball for 14.1 seconds…FredEx ran for a total of 106.9 yards …unbelievable)

EAGLES – 30

Deadskins – 13.

Once again, impressive analysis.

And who can argue with a consistent winner such as yourself.

Birds @ 24
Skins @ 13

I too am late getting this in. I think the birds will win handily and, although this should be a low scoring game, it won't be. I'm betting the skins will manage to put up 2 TD's (one late int the game) and a FG. I am predicting 4 TDs (2 for T.O.) and a FG for Philly:

Eagles: 31
Skins: 17

Well, it looks like Ed pulled this one out. This was a real grind-it-out game, especially the first half. I was certainly counting on a late TD from Washington, as the Eagles tend to sit back a little late in the game when they have a strong lead, but Ramsey just sucks horribly. He probably threw more passes in the backfield than downfield.

I am back in the states and I am a tad bit confused. Last weeks score was 28-6 Eagles. I predicted 30-13 which was 2 off the Eagles score and 7 off of Washington's. That gives a difference of 9 points. Ed's prediction was 24-13 which is 4 off the Eagles score & 7 off of the Deadskins for a total of 11 points. I thought the winner who came closest to the Eagles score won??? I am not trying to take the win from Ed (because he needs it..LOL) but I just wanted clarification..

Here is my prediction for the Giants...EAGLES 27 - Giants - 10.

Hope you guys ahd a great holiday...

I computed it using over-under style math:
Score: 28-6; 28+6=34

Ryan: 30-13; 30+13=43
Ed: 24-13; 24+13=37
Chris: 31-17; 31+17=48

Using this method, Ed is much closer than you or I to the total scoring in the game. Your method is very interesting, but a little more complicated. The difference here is that you were over on both teams points, while Ed was over on Washington, but under on the Eagles.

My prediction is for an Eagles win (of course).
Eagles 24
Giants 13

Final Tally:
Ryan: 6
Chris: 1
Ed: 5

I think we bought Ryan at least two lunches.
I got mine.
I don't think we bought Ed any.
Therefore, I could buy Ed and Ryan lunch four times and that would get us near even.
